Accessibility statement

We at ZANELLATO S.R.L. are committed to ensuring accessibility for all our customers, including people with disabilities. We strive to make our website and services inclusive, easy to use, and as compliant as possible with applicable accessibility standards, consistent with the limitations indicated in this statement.

The accessibility of the Zanellato website is based on the following technologies, which allow it to function with a combination of browsers, assistive technologies, and any plugins installed on the user's device:

  • HTML
  • WAI-ARIA
  • CSS
  • JavaScript

Accessibility Standards

Our site is developed with the goal of complying with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

These guidelines, internationally recognized as the benchmark for web accessibility, are based on four fundamental principles:

  • Perceivable — Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
  • Operable — User interface components and navigation must be operable through different interaction methods.
  • Understandable — Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable.
  • Robust — Content must be robust enough to be interpreted reliably by different browsers and assistive technologies.

We continue to work on progressively improving the accessibility of the site and our services, seeking to reconcile accessibility requirements with the visual identity, technical characteristics, and functionality of the Zanellato digital experience.

Compliance Status

This statement was drafted on 11/10/2026. The website was last verified on 11/10/2026.

The site is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, due to the limitations described in the “Non-accessible content” section.

The assessment was performed on a representative sample of the main pages and features of the site, through a combination of automated tests and manual checks.

The following areas, among others, were analyzed:

  • homepage;
  • collection and product listing pages;
  • product pages;
  • search;
  • filters and sorting;
  • side cart;
  • cart page;
  • desktop and mobile navigation menus;
  • main interactive components.

The verifications included checks using automated tools compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA, keyboard navigation testing, verification of focus visibility, inspection of main interactive components, and mobile viewport checks.

Several improvements were also implemented during the process, including the introduction of visible focus indicators during keyboard navigation, the improvement of accessible names for certain controls, the correction of the semantic structure of menus and titles, the enhancement of contrast for some text elements, and keyboard accessibility for scrollable components.

Non-accessible content

Despite the interventions made, we are aware of the presence of some residual limitations.

  • Information bar color contrast — The white text in the top information bar uses a background color from the Zanellato corporate palette. The contrast ratio is lower than the 4.5:1 threshold required by WCAG 2.1 AA for text of this size. This color combination was maintained to preserve the brand's visual identity.

  • Text overlaid on images — Some calls to action, including certain “Discover more” elements, are displayed in white over photographic images. Since the background color varies depending on the image, the contrast ratio in some areas may be lower than the values required by WCAG 2.1 AA. A complete correction would require graphic interventions such as introducing overlays, dedicated backgrounds, or color changes that would significantly alter the current visual setup.

  • Zooming and resizing content — At high zoom levels, particularly around 200%, some layout elements may not adapt optimally to the available space. A complete revision of this behavior would require substantial changes to the site's responsive structure and graphic layout.

  • Third-party services and components — Some features of the site are provided or managed via external platforms and services, including the Iubenda consent management system and some areas connected to Shopify services. The level of accessibility of these components may depend directly on the respective providers and is not always fully modifiable by Zanellato.

We will continue to monitor these limitations and evaluate potential improvements compatible with the site's experience and visual identity.
