Postina®
The Postina® was created in the early 90’s. It was Franco Zanellato’s idea to design a modern version of the iconic shoulder bag used by the Italian postman in the 50’s while maintaining an elegant and refined style.
The Postina® soon turned into a line of its own and is a symbol of post war Italy, evocative of a world rich in tradition – reminiscent of a time when the mail was still delivered by the the postman on his bicycle - when the wait for him to arrive was filled with promise.
Some models are characterized by the authentic locks typical of the postbags used for delivering letters; studs and rings are original and are standard features of the entire line.
The logo, La Postina® - The Bag, distinguishes the entire line and represents the historic third lock found in the bag of the 50’s.
There are several models for women, all elegant, feminine and practical thanks to the well-designed spaces.
For men, the Postina® also proposes bags suitable for travel in unique leathers and materials and shopper bags in canvas enriched with real leather handles and other details.
To wear the Postina® means “to wear Italian tradition” with elegance and style.
